Conversations with Humanitarians: Regina Olmar, UN-OCHA

Join the Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs (IIHA) on February 26th at 4:00 pm for a conversation with Regina Omlar, with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. You will learn about how anticipatory funding works in the humanitarian sector and how to navigate careers within the UN. Limited seating is available. This is for Fordham students only.

Why should people join the IDHA?

This 4-week course offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in a four-week, high-intensity humanitarian course that provides participants with all the essential knowledge to operate effectively in humanitarian crises. But the IDHA is more than just a course— for me, it was a life-transforming experience that deepened my understanding of humanitarian work, connected me with inspiring peers from around the world, and equipped me with invaluable skills and perspectives that continue to shape my personal and professional journey to this day. This course is available as a certificate course.
